BioEPIC will integrate existing research by Berkeley Lab scientists studying plant-soil-microbe interactions funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Biological and Environmental (BER) program. Co-locating these efforts in a space designed to promote collaboration, with world-class laboratory capabilities and field infrastructure, will enable new science, and accelerate the translation of environmental biology from laboratory to field.
